The trend over the course of this time period for sales over the last two quarters has been on a steady decrease.
On the same note Price per square foot has been on a steady increase for the last 9 quarters.
Why does this happen? DEMAND and low inventories.
The price increases in the housing market shall continue for the foreseeable future. However, as we move into the summer months inventory should creep up some percentage points. Even so, demand will continue to outperform supply for the next 12-24 months.
